For the past 6 years Paul has been an award-winning mentor on the Santander ‘Breakthrough Women Business Leaders’ Mentoring Programme powered by Moving Ahead. In 2025 Paul won Best Mentor Award for going above and beyond and support, a fantastic acknowledgement of his six years of dedication, expertise and commitment to the programme.

This mentoring scheme is for the next generation of fast-growth female entrepreneurs. The programme matches women business leaders from across the UK with carefully selected mentors from a variety of industries and backgrounds, who will support their mentees as they consider the next stage of their business and professional growth.

Paul’s mentees have enjoyed huge success on the programme and have benefited greatly from his wealth of experience. In 2020 Heather won the ‘Most Improved Mentee’ award and in 2021 Sammie won the special Santander Breakthrough Award for ‘Personal and Business Transformation’. In 2022 Maisie won the Santander Breakthrough Award for Personal and
Business Transformation through mentoring. She was also included as one The Telegraph Natwest 100 Female Entrepreneurs to watch. In 2025 Paul’s mentee Debbie won the Most Transformative Mentee, making Paul and Debbie double winners that year, out of only 3 awards. 

In addition, Paul was highly commended as one of the top 5 Most Inspirational Mentor’s in 2020 and 2021.
